The PFA has had a super start to 2019!

We are thrilled to report that every class from ELC to Year 7 has at least 1 Class Representative, for which we are very grateful.

We look forward to working with our representatives throughout the year to spread the PFA message.

The Term 1 events have been a great success!

In Week 6, we celebrated Shrove Tuesday. With thanks to Suzanne McAdam and her team, over 650 pancakes were prepared, cooked and delivered to many appreciative children and staff.

This is a much-loved SPW tradition that wouldn’t be possible without a strong and active PFA.

The Easter Raffle was back on the calendar again this year and has been very well supported by the SPW community with lots of tickets and money raised.

Angela Parker and Emma Lawrence did an amazing job organising this fundraiser with nearly 100 prizes awarded. Congratulations to all the winners.

Term 2 events to look out for:

The Mother’s Day Stall will be held in Week 2. This is another lovely PFA ‘friendraising’ tradition the children love and this year the event will be led by Sharyn Taylor.

Our guest speaker night will be held on Wednesday 12 June and feature Sonya Ryan from the Carly Ryan Foundation discussing the importance of Online Safety.

Lastly, the Bounce Lock-In will be held on Friday 21 June.

Please refer to Skoolbag for details of these events as the dates get closer.

Thank you to the PFA for sharing this overview.
