The Parents and Friends Association would like to thank all those parents and caregivers who volunteered to be a Class Representative for 2020.
Almost every class from the Torrens Room in the ELC to our Year 7 class has someone who has agreed to take on the role. For that, we are very grateful. It might end up being the easiest year yet to be a Class Rep!
Shrove Tuesday on 25 February was its usual success with over 700 pancakes mixed, cooked and served between 7.45am and 10am. We even managed to get a batch out to the Year 7s before they headed off to camp on Hindmarsh Island! Many thanks to Suzanne McAdam and her band of many helpers for their assistance on the morning.
PFA Cancellations due to Covid-19
It was with great disappointment that, due to Covid-19 restrictions, we made the very difficult decision to cancel the Easter Raffle and the Kytons Easter Hot Cross Bun Fundraising Drive.
We are hopeful we will be able to have a different Kytons sale later in the year – perhaps at Christmas. The Nature Play Day planned for 31 May will also be postponed for the time being.
In these uncertain times we will continue to keep the School community informed about future PFA events and their ability to proceed as the months go by.
